So I've waited a good couple of weeks and a few hundred miles later to leave this review and I got to say they sorted my car right out! My instrument cluster on my mk 2 focus kept going mental, and my car kept going into limp mode but after a little research i heard it could be the instrument cluster. A quick phone call one morning to this place and they fitted me in for the same day. Took it there and half hour later it was all done and fixed and not had a problem since! Customer service was top notch, havent got one negative thing to say! Thanks guys and will 100% recommend to anyone with the same problems!

Phoned up about my Ford S Max instrument cluster not working, told to bring it the following day, did so and met Tony who explained what would be done and how much. Tony informed me that it would take approx 2 hours to remove, repair and refit, received call from Tony explaining it would have to be replaced and the cost would still be the same as previously quoted. Picked car up, very happy with the work and all information from Tony. Extremely helpful guy and very good work. Will definately use again and recommend them to everyone.

My ford focus mk2 instrument cluster developed a fault that drove me crazy. The car wouldn't start then would start, and it would often go into limp mode randomly. Also, friend of mine with a 2009 focus had the exact same issue (it is a known fault on m2 focus' you will find loads of examples via a Google search "ford focus mk2 instrument cluster fault"). Instrument cluster Repairs were extremely professional!! The man who did the repairs for me (sorry I didn't get your name) was very friendly and talkative (as were the others I spoke to on the phone). All I had to do was remove my instrument cluster (easy, T20 torx screwdriver or bit and trim removal tool) and hand it to them. They fixed both my friends and my instrument cluster in just over 1hr while I waited. ALL FIX AND THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED! No more faults!! I would HIGHLY recommend them. Thank you so so much as I have a young family and it was a pain travelling before the fault was fixed. Sean Pope.

My MK2 Focus developed an intermittent fault whereby it either didn't start at all or started fine and then switched to limp home mode. It is a known fault so I looked it up on YouTube and removed the instrument panel convinced I could repair it myself. Needless to say I couldn't. I contacted Essex Recons and they said to bring all the bits to them. To cut a long story short, they repaired it, reassembled it perfectly in just over an hour and a half. All I had to do was replace the refurbished the unit in my dash and Bob's your uncle. Perfect service reasonable price and a weight off my mind. Thoroughly recommend them.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. If you have any electrical issues especially with the dashboard/cluster instrument going to limp mode and struggling to start please call them. I phoned up Monday morning and they fitted me in within 2 hours and fixed it as well. All my problems went away and today my car passed its MOT. Focus cluster repair. I'm from Hemel and couldn't get a repair here, so gave these guys a call. Brilliant service, great customer care and great price. Nick was more than helpful, he told me over the phone how to remove the cluster. They received it on a Friday afternoon, it was repaired and back out to be returned to me by closing time. I got it back the following Monday (due to weekends) and it works a dream. 3 weeks of limp mode and eventually not starting, I am back on the road thanks to these guys.
