These guys couldn’t have been more helpful.

As soon as I discussed the issues with my Focus dash, multiple fault codes, warning lights, and restricted performance, the problem was immediately diagnosed.

I was desperate and they managed to book me in next day for a drop and wait appointment.

Highly recommend Essex Recons, hopefully I won’t have to use again 😂 but defo would.

Had an MOT on my Corsa D for the stiff brakes. Turned out to be a common faulty Abs pump. Someone on YouTube recommended them so being local called them on Monday at 10:50am and enquired if they had the offending item. At 12:30 I was walking out of their office with a reconditioned unit and having given them my faulty unit I have a 2 year warranty. At 3pm the same day the car was back on the road working perfectly. How is that for speed, efficiency and great service. I cannot rate Essex Recons highly enough and the way I look at it that's how all companies should be run

Honda Accord ABS and VSA warning lights came on and agents diagnosis confirmed pump failure. Found this company online researching for ABS pump repairs after I was quoted an exorbitant 4 figure price for replacement part excluding VAT. Called Essex Recons had very helpful chat and a super reasonable quote to fix and replace pump as well as other things. Collection was prompt repaired and returned promptly. Final price less than quote. Truly honest deal. This is excellent service. ABS system works fine now. Thank you very much for a great service and definitely recommend and use again.

Ethan is the colleague who fixed my cluster. It seems all good. There are no issues so far.
12 issues were cleared. The job took about 3 hours. Cluster was clean, no dirt or fingerprints on it.

I found this company online read great reviews so sent my abs pump to them had a courtesy message next day saying they had received it and assigned it to an engineer. Today had a phone call all done and for the price originally quoted. This is excellent service alot of other firms should take a look at how a company should run. I had a problem with the Blue and Me functions on a Fiat Panda 4x4. Essex Recons repaired the unit and reconfigured the vehicle when it was re-installed.

Fixed the instrument cluster on our Ford C-Max, works perfectly so far. Friendly staff on the phone and at their workshop in Dagenham. We paid a bit extra for them to remove and refit the part as well as fix it while we waited, great service and a 2 year warranty. Highly recommended!

My ford focus mk2 instrument cluster developed a fault that drove me crazy. The car wouldn't start then would start, and it would often go into limp mode randomly.
Also, friend of mine with a 2009 focus had the exact same issue (it is a known fault on m2 focus' you will find loads of examples via a Google search "ford focus mk2 instrument cluster fault").

Instrument cluster Repairs were extremely professional!! The man who did the repairs for me (sorry I didn't get your name) was very friendly and talkative (as were the others I spoke to on the phone). All I had to do was remove my instrument cluster (easy, T20 torx screwdriver or bit and trim removal tool) and hand it to them. They fixed both my friends and my instrument cluster in just over 1hr while I waited. ALL FIX AND THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED! No more faults!!

I would HIGHLY recommend them.

Thank you so so much as I have a young family and it was a pain travelling before the fault was fixed.

So today sorted out the very common Transit dash-gone-wild issue with it cutting out etc.
Popped it out, which took about 20 minutes and ran it down to Essex Recon in Rainham.

Spent a pleasant hour having a cup of tea at the local hotel and returned an hour later, shelled out a very reasonable fee and returned home.. Popped it all back and it now works perfectly and with a lifetime guarantee.

Very happy with the service received from Essex Recon and highly recommend them. Also didn't lose the use of my van for days on end.

The LCD screen within the instrument cluster of my Mk3 Galaxy was dying/dead and the main agent could only offer a complete instrument cluster replacement for £1K++. I became aware of several companies that would repair the cluster if I removed it and sent it away. Then I found Tony who did the whole thing for me while I wandered along to a local hotel and enjoyed an extended coffee break. Within 90 minutes I was back on the road with the cluster now repaired for a fraction of the main dealer solution. Very good to deal with. Highly recommend.

Jag showing ignition coil warning light and going into limp mode. Need for replacement actuator correctly diagnosed on the phone. Local garages didn't seem to know you could do this 'it will cost a fortune and the turbo itself is bound to be worn etc etc'. Then to get a replacement with a lifetime guarantee for £90 was fantastic.
