Just had the instrument cluster repaired on my mark 2 Focus today (common fault with these) received excellent service, very efficient, friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend them enough, fixed while we waited and done in 45 minutes big thank you to Essex Recons.

Thought my focus was dying prematurely but a friend told me what the fault was and I contacted these guys who were so polite and friendly, such a breath of fresh air from the girl that took my enquiry to the guy who done the repair, very professional and top customer service. 10/10 for this and for the communications. I will definitely recommend to my focus peeps.

My ford focus mk2 instrument cluster developed a fault that drove me crazy. The car wouldn't start then would start, and it would often go into limp mode randomly.Also, friend of mine with a 2009 focus had the exact same issue (it is a known fault on m2 focus' you will find loads of examples via a Google search "ford focus mk2 instrument cluster fault").Instrument cluster Repairs were extremely professional!! The man who did the repairs for me (sorry I didn't get your name) was very friendly and talkative (as were the others I spoke to on the phone). All I had to do was remove my instrument cluster (easy, T20 torx screwdriver or bit and trim removal tool) and hand it to them. They fixed both my friends and my instrument cluster in just over 1hr while I waited. ALL FIX AND THE ISSUE IS RESOLVED! No more faults!!I would HIGHLY recommend them.Thank you so so much as I have a young family and it was a pain travelling before the fault was fixed.Sean Pope.

So today sorted out the very common Transit dash-gone-wild issue with it cutting out etc.Popped it out, which took about 20 minutes and ran it down to Essex Recon in Rainham.Spent a pleasant hour having a cup of tea at the local hotel and returned an hour later, shelled out a very reasonable fee and returned home.. Popped it all back and it now works perfectly and with a lifetime guarantee.Very happy with the service received from Essex Recon and highly recommend them. Also didn't lose the use of my van for days on end.

The LCD screen within the instrument cluster of my Mk3 Galaxy was dying/dead and the main agent could only offer a complete instrument cluster replacement for £1K++. I became aware of several companies that would repair the cluster if I removed it and sent it away. Then I found Tony who did the whole thing for me while I wandered along to a local hotel and enjoyed an extended coffee break. Within 90 minutes I was back on the road with the cluster now repaired for a fraction of the main dealer solution. Very good to deal with. Highly recommend.

Jag showing ignition coil warning light and going into limp mode. Need for replacement actuator correctly diagnosed on the phone. Local garages didn't seem to know you could do this 'it will cost a fortune and the turbo itself is bound to be worn etc etc'. Then to get a replacement with a lifetime guarantee for £90 was fantastic.

My instrument cluster on my mk 2 focus kept going mental, and my car kept going into limp mode but after a little research i heard it could be the instrument cluster. My MK2 Focus developed an intermittent fault whereby it either didn't start at all or started fine and then switched to limp home mode. It is a known fault so I looked it up on YouTube and removed the instrument panel convinced I could repair it myself. Needless to say I couldn't. I contacted Essex Recons and they said to bring all the bits to them. To cut a long story short, they repaired it, reassembled it perfectly in just over an hour and a half. All I had to do was replace the refurbished the unit in my dash and Bob's your uncle. Perfect service reasonable price and a weight off my mind. Thoroughly recommend them.
