Description
Common problems
- failures on wheel sensors
- Malfunction of pump
- No brake pressure at one of the wheels
- No communication with ABS possible
The Vauxhall Corsa ABS pump is a very common part to fail for vehicles from 2006 and 2014. When the failure of the ABS pump occurs it will cause the N/S/F (Near-Side Front) brake caliper not to get its required fluid. This may result in the vehicle failing the left front brake and may also cause the vehicle to swerve to the right during heavy braking. You will also notice that you will not be getting any brake fluid coming from the caliper bleed nipple during bleeding.
The near side front is the more common to fail but this fault is not isolated there and can affect any or multiple calipers.
