The Continental turbo actuator fitted to Land Rover Freelander 2 (2010-2016) is prone to failure. Common symptoms of this fault are power loss, illuminated EML light,, P0237 – Turbo boost sensor, P0238 – turbo / boost sensor “A” circuit high input, P0047 – turbo / boost control solenoid circuit low, P0048 – turbocharger / boost control solenoid circuit high, P2263 – turbocharger boost system performance; P0046 – Turbocharger boost control solenoid circuit range/performance fault codes can?also be present in the ECU engine when checked through diagnostics.
