The Ford Kuga dashboard instrument cluster is a know issue. When the unit is at fault you will suffer from a loss of needle readings, LCD screen corruption and non-illumination of back-lighting. These faults may begin intermittently but will worsen to a permanent non-operation of the entire speedo unit.
