Land Rover Freelander 2 turbo actuator failure will cause a dramatic loss of power and will throw the vehicle into restricted mode. When scanning the vehicle for fault codes will often reveal; P0046 – Turbocharger boost control solenoid circuit range/performance, P0047 – turbocharger boost control solenoid circuit, P0048 – turbocharger / supercharger boost control solenoid circuit high, P0238 – turbo / boost sensor “A” circuit high input and P2263 – turbocharger activation fault.
