The Continental turbo actuator fitted to the Freelander from 2010-2015 is a very common failure component which causes the vehicle to be limited in performance mode. You’ll usually see codes when tested with diagnostics for P0047 ? Turbocharger boost control circuit low, P0048 ? Turbocharger boost control circuit high and P0046 ? Turbocharger boost control range performance, P0238 – turbo / boost sensor “A” circuit high input & P2263 – turbocharger activation fault.
