Description
The Ford S-Max electronic turbo actuator made by Continental fitted from 2010 to 2015 and can cause a dramatic loss in power and can often force the vehicle into limp mode. The engine management light may also illuminate and when scanned with diagnostic equipment fault codes may be logged including: P0045 – Turbocharger / supercharger boost control A open circuit, P0046 – Turbocharger boost control solenoid circuit range/performance, P0047 – Turbocharger / supercharger boost control A circuit low, P0238 – Turbo/Boost sensor “A” circuit high input, P2263 – Turbocharger activation fault and P003A – Turbocharger / supercharger boost control A position exceed learning limit.
